    Eric Byrnes Trade Rumor?

yep.. We never know.. Eric Byrnes. I know his salary was too low last season and I understand he applied for arbitration due to this situation. I also knew even if he did well and he is most favorite A's player, A's didn't want to appraise him well. That's really a problem. They still didn't want to guarantee his position. He still have to compete w/ other players very seriously. Plus Billy Beane didn't care how much stolen bases A's player did. In his mind, this is not a part of evaluation. Byrnes got 17 and that's highest SB in A's. For me, SB is one of a key for the game. making a chance to get score, you know?

So that's why he is a trade candidate. I know rumor is going around right now. A's wants to acquire Jose Valverde from D-bucks in exchange for Byrnes. But, according to news, it's 50-50. may happen..may not happen..

    Jose Valverde

Then... I just heard the csse of NY Mets Mike Cameron.. After Mets acquired Carlos Beltran (CF), Mets wants to convert Cameron to RF. But, of course, Cameron didn't like this idea at all. Billy Beane again.. he evaluate Cameron's fielding well. He said " Cameron is best fielding in the American League ". Also I heard Cameron desired to be traded if he will have to convert to RF. So if Mets couldn't settle this problem, Beane will offer trade w/ Byrnes.

    Carlos Beltran

But even if A's will acquire Cameron, A's will get another problem. Cameron wants to play only CF, right? So if that's the case, How about Mark Kotsay? I don't think he wants to play either RF or LF, too. So it's still a chain reaction problem. So potentially if A's trade Byrnes to Mets and aquire Cameron, A's may decide to trade Kotsay, too.

    Mark Kotsay

That's enough, Beane!! A's fan didn't want to hear sad story anymore. Hudson left. Mulder left. Now Byrnes??? geeeee... Can you pay Cameron's salary? His remaining 2 years salary is $ 12.8 million!!! It's totally out of A's budget, right? Compared w/ these unbelievable salaries, Byrnes is still cheap even if he applied for arbitration.

I hope he will not make a very bad decision. Otherwise I bet A's will create another problem.
