David Bisbal in San Francisco

Last night, Devid Bisbal came to SF for a concert. Unusually I left work at 5pm. Then went home, changed to more comfortable clothes, and left at 5:30pm. I was driving HW101 North and then to HW280 North. A little trafic...but not bad as I expected. when I exited on King street, it was still ok. I stopped at one signal which is located in the section between 4th street and king street. I was looking around at the area when I am idle on a stop sign.. They changed a lot.. Now I can see so many condos. New stores opened, too. I saw a new Safeway just in front of Cal Train station. They just opened I guess...Oh the signal changed green, I started driving again.. then turn left on 3rd street..I usually park my car in the parking building on mission street betwn 4th street and 5th street. In SF, there are so many one way streets. So to make it easy to go to the parking building, I make a left Harrison street and then turn right 5th street. I went in the parking building. Just in case, I also skipped 2nd floor and went to 3rd floor because I thoughtthere are less parking there. yep.. I found good spot near 5th street side.. So my wife and I can go home quickly after the concert. After I park here, I walked 5th street to Market street because my wife and I plan to meet at SF Shopping centre that is located at the corner of 5th street and market street. I was sitting next to the escalator on the 1F. I called my wife and left a voice message on her cell phone.. That is just passed 6pm. She has a massage appointment. So I expected I needed to wait for a while. After 7pm, finally she came. So we went to the food court dowstairs, to Panda Express, and ate dinner until 7:30pm. Then we went to the concert place.
The concert place called the Warfield, is very close from here. just 1~2 blocks. I brought my camera because I always do. But this time the security at the door took my camera before getting in and I had to pay 75 cents for the valet. Great.. Now I can't take pictures.. before going to our seats, we stop by the shop and bought the concert t-shirt as souvenirs. We always do that.

We didn't get general admission on 1F because there are no reserved seats and most need to stand up until the concert finished. So we took seats on 2F. We went up the stairs. Before we got in, I knew my wife was thirsty because we couldn't get a water when we were eating dinner. So I offered her to get one for her from the bar. But she said it's ok.. So we didn't buy any drink and went in the concert place. We showed our tickets to a guide and he brought us to our seats. There were 2 persons are sitting our seats because I realized 2F is almost empty..not like Juanes. So they tried to sit better seats from their original seats... Geee.... Our seats are almost middle of the stage and aisle side. Also in front of our seats, there is big passage. So our seats set up higher from that passage. Even if people stand up in front of us, we still could see well. That's good. Left front from our seats, the mixing and lighting machines are located. I was interested on what they are doing, too..So I am watching this machine as well. After a while, I saw camera crew and one lady.. I saw her when we were in 1F and I felt strange that time.. becayse I could feel she didn't come at the concert for fun. I felt she came for work or something.. Yeah I was right. When I saw her in 2F, she was holding a mike.. w/ camera crew.. yeah she is an emcee for a TV show..don't know which one.. So I was watching their shooting. It's so funny. I know she is talking and acting.. but it's almost silent.. I think her TV voice went in the video directly.. So I feel like watching a silent show. So funny. After their shoot, I was watching these 2 persons again.. they didn't give up.. they still tried to get good seats.. They failed twice already... After all that, they went back to their original seats.

I heard voices from downstairs.. "Bisbal! Bisbal! Bisbal!" back band started playing a starting song "Angel de la noche". Finally the concert started at 8pm. He went out from the middle of the stage. He is wearing casual clothes, red shirts and blue jeans. The song was a fast song.. then slow song. He sang fast and slow alternately. I thought he tried to keep stamina until the end of the concert. When he is singing fast songs, he moved a lot and danced a lot w/ his 2 dancers. Also I think it's his habit.. He tuck up his front shirt and showed his abs a lot!! then shaking his hip a lot!! Whenever he did that, girls were screaming.. so funny.. he changed clothes twice after that.. white...then black.. during the concert, I think at least 2 girls try to go up on the stage.. once..no mark at all.. security couldn't catch her. After he changed a white shrt..then siting on the floor and singing.. when that incident happened. the girl went the stage and hugged him.. then she came back. He was very professional about it.. Even if this incident was happened, he kept singing w/o any reaction. Then after a while, I saw another girl tried to go up the stage.. Good thing.. security cought her.. saved David Bisbal..
When he changed clothes again from white to black, I went downstairs and tried to get my camera because it wasn't fair.. I saw so many people downstairs taking pictures.. Why can't I?? But gee.. this guy refused to give me back camera until the concert is finished.. So it can't be helped.. I went back to my seat.. When I am listening to his songs, I realized again his voice is good for slow songs. His voice is so clear and he can prolong a note very well. I know he is still young. So he can dance and sing fast song so far.. But not forever.. I think eventually the producer will sell him as a ballad singer..That's his future. That's what I thought..That's a good sign because he will be able to be a long-winded singer potentially. The ending song is of course "Buleria".. I already expected.. because this song was the first hit song from his 2nd album plus it's a fast song.
Earthquake time again!! When he started singing this song, almost all the people on the 2F stood up and start dancing..the floor was shaking!!! I enjoyed a lot.. my poor wife.. this time.. she didn't know most of the songs.. she was quiet..

After the concert was finished at 10pm, I went downstairs and picked up my camera. How disappointing!! I was still upset I couldn't take any photos.. So when I was walking, I took some pictures..

Then my wife showed me a David Bisbal keychain.

she bought this one for our family best friend "P".P really wanted to go to this concert. Unfortunately she couldn't make it. I hope she can get the concert feeling from this keychain a little bit.

After we got out from the concert place, I am still upset.. So I took one more shot.

Going back to our car, we walked so fast because the Warfield area is not good place.. we got home at almost 11pm, what a long day again.

Now I also learned how important a small camera would have been..
