Whenever my wife and I went to Walmart or drive thru Kuhio Hwy, we always notice this store. However we never stop at this store. We love sushi but we couldn't buy fresh fish because we always stay in the hotel the previous years we were in Kauai. Finally this year, since we were staying in a condo that is equipped with a refrigerator, we made it a point to stop by and get some fresh fish for dinner.

They have a really good selection. Notably their sashimi quality native fish and poki. We usually eat sashimi with rice so it was a good thing that they also sell cooked rice at the store. So on our first day in the island, we bought two types of fishes (Opo and Salmon) and an order shoyu ahi poki.

Even if we bought a small portion of the sushi, we still had enough to keep for the following day's dinner.

We'll definitely make this a regular stop whenever we come visit the island.
